The Trustees are proud to announce the 2016 travel grants have been awarded to 9 successful scholars, totalling £7,050.

Some of these include:

RUBY ANTONOWICZ-BEHNAN –  (University of Glasgow, MPhil Textile Conservation) for textile conservation placement with the Rijksmuseum , Amsterdam, HOLLAND.

KIRI DOUGLAS –  (Lincoln University, BA(Hons) Conservation & Restoration) for practical conservation of social historic objects placement with the Conservation Dept,  Auschwitz-Birkenau State Museum, POLAND

SCOTT MACASKILL –  (Scottish Lime Centre Trust, Fife – Stonemason) for a placement covering stone carving, soapstone, fixing & production of hot mixed lime mortars with the Cathedral Stonemasons, Trondheim, NORWAY

KEIRA MILLER –  (Glasgow University, MPhil Textile Conservation) for textile Conservation internship with the Museum of New Zealand, Te Papa Tongarewa, Wellington, NEW ZEALAND

ROSIE NUTTALL –  (University of Glasgow, MPhil Textile Conservation) for textile conservation placement with Artlab, Adelaide, AUSTRALIA

CHLOE PEARCE  –  (Cardiff University, MSc Conservation Practice) for conservation of archaeological objects placement with the Catalhoyuk Project, TURKEY.

KATHARINE WALDRON –  (Courtauld Institute of Art, London – Pgrad Dipl Conservation of Easel Paintings) for conservation techniques cleaning modern oil paints, research on water sensitivity, and Talens tube paint with the Cultural Heritage Agency, (RCE) Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS.
